Description

On September 24, 2004, 27-year-old quadriplegic medical marijuana user Jonathan Magbie died after being given the maximum sentence for a first-time marijuana offence and, consequently, suffering medical neglect in a D.C. jail. Loretta Nall, president of the U.S. Marijuana Party, and Steve Fox, Director of Government Relations for the Marijuana Policy Project, reflect on this tragic death and the harsh sentence applied by D.C. Superior Court judge Judith Retchin. Brought to you by Gooey Productions.
