The Leader Canadians never elected, Paul Martin says he is going to bring back Bill C-38, although it seems to be with an ever shrinking amount of weed for personal possession and ever increasing penalties for distribtion and production. Justice Minister Irwin Cotler echoes his Boss' sentiments loud and clear. Special thanks to Newshawk Guardian 99. Pot-TV More shows from Newshawks

Re: Newshawks: Paul Martin on Pot
jht001,
Fri Dec 19 00:31:43 2003 C-Span had an hour of highlights of the inauguration of Canada's PM plus interviews after it. While Mr. Martin seems like an affable person, it seems like he's chewing more than he can handle. Seems like this marijuana intiative, what little there is of it, will be way down in his priorities. Something he can come back to over and over again stating he did his part in the decriminization of marijuana, when someone in the media asks him about it.
Hey, that's 2-billion percent more than we can hope for from President Bush and his cronies... I just hope Bush and Ashcroft don't try to walk all over Mr. Martin in the coming year!

Thu Dec 18 19:27:28 2003 Interesting. Martin clearly sees the NDP has the threat, not the Conservatives. discuss this show in the CC forums >
