Re: Newshawks: Jack Layton on C-Pac
beeek,
Fri Dec 5 13:21:59 2003 Marijuana bad? Duh, inhalation of the fumes of any burning substance into lungs ideally designed for processing oxygen (and other trace gases) is not, physiologically speaking, "good".
Regulated? Circa 2000 a.d. what aspects of human society are NOT regulated? Get back in yer time machine and regress 100,000 years to the ice age. Zero regulations and you already know the secret of fire!
While Layton does seem a little tired and stunned in this interview, the critics should spend less time listening for ominous Big Brother terms and focus on the central message he continues to put forth at every opportunity: How do we facilitate the ability of a citizen to obtain cannabis without ANYONE having participated in a CRIME. Any scheme which accomplishes this will include LEGAL channels for cultivation, distribution and possession.

Wed Dec 3 17:54:03 2003 Regulated environment? Marijuana is bad for you? Sounds like he's being political....surprise. Use caution.
