Teacher Accused Of Providing Student With Drugs

21 Mar 2006 FAIRFAX, Va. -- A high school teacher is under investigation after a student reported receiving marijuana from the teacher, Fairfax County police said.

On Friday, the teacher allegedly gave marijuana to a 17-year-old boy in a school hallway after class, police said. The student took the marijuana to a school security officer, and police were called.

83-year-old admits being marijuana farmer

21 Mar 2006 An 83-year-old Shreveport man pleaded guilty and got probation today for growing and selling marijuana from his home.

Unis Coleman pleaded guilty in Caddo District Court to distribution of marijuana charges. In a plea agreement with prosecutors, he received a suspended prison sentence, probation and a $1,500 fine.

DEA Seizes Toka-Cola And Buddafingers In Big Pot Raid

18 Mar 2006 OAKLAND, Calif. -- Members of the Drug Enforcement Administration announced a huge marijuana bust in Oakland Thursday.

Among the confiscated items were thousands of pot plants and hundreds of pot-laced candy bars made to look like popular candy bars.

Agents arrested 39-year-old Kenneth Affolte, of Lafayette. Twelve other people were also arrested on charges of distribution of marijuana.

Thousands Of Marijuana Plants Seized 18 Mar 2006 OAKLAND, Calif. -- Authorities confiscated marijuana-laced candy and soft drinks made to look like popular brands during a California drug bust Thursday.

Agents also seized four indoor marijuana growing operations, between 4,000 and 5,000 marijuana plants, $100,000 in cash and three weapons, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
