Correctional Officer Accused of Drug Operation

26 May 2006 (WFRV) ROSENDALE, Wis. A Dodge correctional officer is in trouble with the law.

32-year-old Paul Krumwiede of Rosendale is accused of running a large marijuana growing operation.

Krumwiede is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to deliver the drug as well several other drug related offenses.

Krumwiede lives next to two schools, the Laconia High School and Rosendale Primary School.

If convicted on all charges, Krumwiede could get sentenced to more than 37-years in prison and fined up to $85,000.

He's currently on paid administration leave from Dodge Correctional pending an internal investigation.

Accused Muffin-Making Teens Out On Bond

26 May 2006 DALLAS -- Two teenagers accused of making THC-laced muffins that sent 19 Lake Highlands High School staffers to the hospital bonded out of jail Thursday after turning themselves in earlier in the day.

Joey Tellini and Jan Walker, both 18, left the Lew Sterret Justice Center in Dallas on $7,500 bond.

Police Close To Arrest In 'Tainted Muffins' Case

23 May 2006 (CBS 11 News) DALLAS CBS 11 News has learned new information concerning the Lake Highlands ‘tainted muffins’ investigation.

Eighteen Lake Highlands High School staff members fell ill last week after eating drug-laced muffins.

Sources tell CBS 11 News the person who delivered the muffins to the school will be charged Tuesday. Officials say the suspect in the case may be a student from Bishop Lynch High School.

Student Arrested On Drug Charges

23 May 2006 A Cameron High School student was arrested on charges he tried to deal drugs at school.

Robert Blaine Gray, 18, of Moundsville, is accused of trying to sell marijuana to another student in the school gymnasium on May 19.

Police said they found approximately two grams of marijuana in his pocket. Gray is charged with possession with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school.

Test Results Confirm Pot In Mystery Muffins

FBI Investigates Muffin Mystery 18 May 2006 DALLAS -- Officials on Thursday confirmed that THC -- the narcotic in marijuana -- was among the ingredients in a batch of muffins that hospitalized 18 teachers and staffers at Lake Highlands High School on Tuesday.

Despite the confirmation, officials were still conducting tests to determine what other drugs might have been in the baked goods.
